BevQ is a food and drinks utility application developed by Kerala States Beverages Corporation. This lifestyle application was created to facilitate liquor sales in Kerala via a virtual booking system. As a client, it enables you to book a queue number and an e-token in order to assure a place in the queue in a specified time slot. This tool is made especially to aid the maintenance of the social distancing under this COVID-19 pandemic situation.
Glitch-ridden application
BevQ is formulated with great intentions however, in reality, instead of giving relief to its consumers, it brought tumult with the series of bugs and errors it exhibited. Many costumers anticipated the launch of this app and unfortunately, a lot got disappointed also. The performance of this utility tool is poor. It is extremely difficult to get connected at the same time the messages are utterly confusing. What’s even more frustrating is you don’t have an option to use any other app thus you are just helplessly stuck with this.
One of its major drawbacks also is its issue with distance and kilometer range. Even though it is a known fact that there is an existing traveling limitation due to the COVID-19 virus, this app still gives you a location that is 10, 15, or worst 25 kilometers or more away from your place. Not only that it also doesn’t offer a cancel or edit option for your placed orders so, whenever you plan to purchase a beverage through this you should also guarantee that you place the right details regarding your order and you are 100% sure you’ll buy it without any hesitations.
In addition, it provides no option for you to select the day, time, and outlet you prefer to get your ordered item beverages. Furthermore, it doesn’t give OTP at the correct time, and the prompt “something went wrong” keeps on showing. App’s interface overall is not user friendly and extremely frustrating to operate.
Entire application poorly needs improvement
BevQ as a whole application needs to be revamped. The intentions behind this app were clear and great, however, those good purposes would be put into waste if this isn’t working at all. Although, it should be taken into consideration that this utility was developed in a short span of time because of the pandemic situation but, the number of bugs, glitches, and errors is just too much to take by any user.
